School Accountability Committee

The School Accountability Committee’s, or SACs,  help principals guide their smaller site.  They often help set annual goals for improvement and monitor those efforts.  They then report to the District Accountability Committee, or DAC, which reports to the Board of Education, or BOE. Contact your school principal to find out how you can get involved.

Salida School District SAC Mtg dates/times:

  • LES – Contact LES Office for dates
  • SMS -3rd Monday of each month 5:30pm(2017-18)/ 2nd Wednesday at 5:30 in SMS library for 2018-19
  • SHS – Contact SHS Principal Tami Thompson for dates
  • Horizons – Fourth Monday of Every Month (No December or May Mtg) – 6:00 PM
  • Crest – Due to schedule conflicts, we need to change April’s meeting from 23rd to Monday, April 30th @5:15 at Crest.

    This will be our last formal meeting before school ends in May.

    FYI: For the new incoming SAC officers & current 5-7th grade parents who participate, we may have 1 SAC mtg in the summer to help with preparations for the 2018-19 school year.
