School Accountability Committees

The School Accountability Committee’s, or SACs,  help principals guide their smaller site.  They often help set annual goals for improvement and monitor those efforts.  They then report to the District Accountability Committee, or DAC, which reports to the Board of Education, or BOE. Contact your school principal to find out how you can get involved.

Salida School District SAC Mtg dates/times:

  • LES –Contact LES Office for dates
  • SMS - Meets once a semester from 5-6 p.m. in the MS library, dates for 2021 will be: September 8, December 8, February 6 and May 11. Parents, teachers and community members are welcome to attend. 
  • SHS –  The Salida High School SAC meets the first Tuesday of the month in person in the library of the Salida High School and simultaneously remotely via Google Meet at 5:30-6:30 p.m. 
  • Horizons – December 7, 2021, 4:30 p.m. 
  • Crest – PTO/SAC Meeting:  September 21, 5:30-7 p.m., 2nd floor 627 Oak Street
