New Student Enrollment

To enroll a new student for kindergarten through 12th grade, the child must be:

  • A resident of the District or have submitted a non-district resident application. If you are not a district resident please see the non-resident information below.
  • Between the ages of 5 and 21 years.
  • 5 years old on or before August 1 for kindergarten or 6 years old on or before August 1 for first grade.

All new students must have:

  • A birth certificate or its equivalent
  • Up-to-date immunization records or statement of exemption
  • Name, address and phone number of last school attended

NON-DISTRICT RESIDENT ENROLLMENT

The Salida School District will accept students from other school districts on a space and staff available basis. Students living outside of District boundaries must apply for non-resident authorization to the school of their choice. After you have completed and submitted your online enrollment you will be sent a link to the Out-of-District Application.

If you already have an active Infinite Campus Portal account and need to register a new student to the District, login to the IC Parent Portal. Then, from the drop down menu click on More and then Online Registration.

If you don't yet have a portal account, your family is new to the Salida School District OR are returning after leaving and you need to reenroll your student(s) please start with the Enrollment process above.
